[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk announced on the 23rd that it held the inaugural ceremony of the nation's first COVID-19 response 'Living Vaccine Volunteer Group' at the county office on the 22nd and appointed 66 volunteer members.
The Living Vaccine Volunteer Group, selected through a two-week open recruitment process starting January 26, will initially be active until July 31. They will visit 2,282 COVID-19 vulnerable facilities such as religious, sports, food, and public hygiene establishments once or twice a week to conduct promotional and guidance activities.
'Living Vaccine' refers to non-medical daily quarantine activities that prevent COVID-19 infection in advance through adherence to social distancing guidelines in daily life and workplaces, unlike medical vaccines.
