'Healing and Discovering My Hometown'... Bucheon City Operates Contactless Stamp Tour on Cultural Trail
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province will officially operate the 'Bucheon Cultural Dullegil' developed last year.
The Cultural Dullegil is a village trail developed with a total length of 31km, consisting of four courses: Urban Forest Trail (7.7km), Village Connection Trail (6km), Sosa Naeum Trail (8.9km), and Wonmi Masil Trail (8.4km).
Starting from March, various programs will be held, including a non-face-to-face stamp tour, photo contests, experiencing the Dullegil with people with disabilities, and walking events linked to local festivals.
Among these, the stamp tour will use Bucheon City's smart tourism electronic map to allow citizen participation, considering the difficulty of large-scale face-to-face events due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. Participants who complete the course will receive souvenirs.
In a situation where travel is difficult due to COVID-19 social distancing and other quarantine guidelines, walking the Dullegil course is expected to provide an opportunity not only to relieve stress through healing but also to better understand one's hometown.
