'One-stop National Subsidies' Pilot Operation of 'Subsidy 24' by 13 Local Governments
Check Government Subsidies at 'Government24' and 'Dong Community Centers' from the 24th to the End of April
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The ‘Bojo-geum24’ service, which allows users to check national subsidies all at once by accessing ‘Government24,’ will be piloted for residents of 13 local governments.
On the 23rd, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that from the 24th until the end of April, the ‘Bojo-geum24’ pilot service will be conducted in a total of 13 cities, counties, and districts, including Dong-gu in Daegu, Yeonsu-gu in Incheon, and Boryeong-si in Chungnam. ‘Bojo-geum24’ is a system that enables users to check over 300 services provided by central government ministries at once through Government24, including childcare allowances, energy vouchers, and youth preferential subscription savings accounts. The official launch is scheduled for April this year.
The pilot operation targeting residents of these 13 local governments is designed to preemptively check for any improvements needed in ‘Bojo-geum24’ before the official launch, ensuring smooth service delivery. Any resident of the 13 selected cities, counties, and districts can access Government24 and check all available subsidy information at once. Additionally, for digitally marginalized groups who find non-face-to-face methods difficult, visiting a nearby community service center will provide access to the same services as ‘Bojo-geum24.’
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety plans to closely review system improvements and residents’ feedback on Bojo-geum24 together with the selected cities, counties, and districts. To this end, training has been provided to public officials at community service centers and local government offices mainly in Daegu Metropolitan City, Incheon Metropolitan City, and Chungcheongnam-do. Posters, leaflets, notices, and application forms have also been distributed to these institutions.

Han Chang-seop, Director of the Government Innovation Organization Office, said, “The ‘Bojo-geum24’ service is a policy designed to eliminate cases where people miss out on government benefits because they are unaware of them.” He added, “We thank the 13 cities, counties, and districts participating in the pilot service and hope they will share detailed feedback from the field until the official service is launched.”
