Daegu Superintendent of Education Kang Eun-hee Joins Children's Traffic Safety 'Relay Challenge'
'Stop at 1! To the 2nd side! For 3 seconds! Prevent with 4!' SNS Promotion
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education announced that Superintendent Kang Eun-hee participated in the 'Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge' campaign on the 22nd.
The Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge began in December last year, organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, to spread a culture of child protection and to form a national consensus for preventing children's traffic accidents.
The campaign proceeds by posting photos holding the children's traffic safety slogan, selected through a national idea contest, on SNS, and then recommending three next participants in a relay format.
Superintendent Kwon, who participated in the campaign after being nominated by Daegu Mayor Kwon Young-jin, took a photo holding a slogan placard that reads "Stop at 1! Look both ways at 2! Wait for 3 seconds! Prevent 4 dangers!" and posted it on the official SNS of the Office of Education.
Superintendent Kang Eun-hee nominated Jeon Gyeong-won, Chairperson of the Daegu City Council Education Committee, Woo Dong-gi, President of Daegu Catholic University, and Kim Jung-jin, President of the Daegu Safety Life Citizens Practice Association, as the next participants.
