Opening of the 252nd Extraordinary Session of Hapcheon County Council
Review of 14 Various Proposals Including Hapcheon-gun Public Project Management Ordinance Draft
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Hapcheon County Council in Gyeongnam opened the 252nd extraordinary session on the 22nd and began a five-day meeting period.
This session will review two amended ordinances related to the council's administrative affairs audit, which were jointly proposed by Councilor Im Jae-jin, the 'Hapcheon County Public Project Management Ordinance' proposed by Councilor Shin Kyung-ja, the 'Comprehensive Amendment to the Apartment Housing Management Ordinance' submitted by the Hapcheon County Governor, along with 10 other items.
All agenda items will be finally approved at the 2nd plenary session on the 26th, and during the 1st plenary session, Councilors Jeong Bong-hoon and Kwon Young-sik will each deliver a 5-minute free speech.
Chairperson Bae Mong-hee, in the opening remarks, said, "Since vaccinations began at the end of February, we can have hope and expectations for the end of COVID-19," and added, "I hope that all submitted agenda items will be thoroughly and efficiently reviewed."

Furthermore, she stated, "Starting from this extraordinary session, we will disclose the plenary and standing committee meetings in real-time through the council’s website to fulfill the public’s right to know and to do our best to realize a council that works together with the residents."
