View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 22nd, Electron Land announced that the sales volume of 75-inch TVs has increased due to the OTT (Over-the-top) platform boom over the past year.
Analyzing home appliance sales from February last year to January 2021, Electron Land found that sales of 75-inch TVs surged by 206% compared to the same period the previous year. Electron Land attributed the increase in sales of TVs 75 inches and larger to growing customer demand for entertainment appliances that help enjoy content with large screens and rich sound.
They also prepared promotions for customers who enjoy content at home. Electron Land is offering up to a 50% discount when purchasing certain TV event models with the Electron Land Samsung partnership card until the 28th. Additionally, they are holding an 'Online and Offline Simultaneous IT Festa.' During the event period, customers who purchase laptops, desktops, or custom-built PCs worth over 1 million KRW will receive benefits such as up to 36 months of long-term interest-free installments, up to 170,000 KRW cashback, and tablet PCs (limited to the first 500 customers) as gifts, depending on the payment items and event models.
