View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 21st that 12 more people tested positive in connection with the plastic manufacturing factory in the Jingwan Industrial Complex, where a COVID-19 cluster outbreak occurred. This brings the total number of confirmed cases related to the Namyangju plastic factory to 163.
Specifically, there are 129 plastic factory employees (120 foreigners), family and acquaintances, and 34 other factory workers.
Additionally, some confirmed cases from other regions epidemiologically linked to the infected employees of this factory have not been included in the count, so the total number of confirmed cases may increase further.
Regarding this plastic factory, following the confirmation of one Cambodian worker in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 13th of this month, 163 more people have tested positive since the 17th.

Most of the confirmed cases at this factory are foreign workers from 17 countries, and it was found that they lived together in dormitories with 1 to 5-person rooms on the third floor of the factory.
