[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Double-digit confirmed cases continue to be reported at temporary screening clinics in the Seoul metropolitan area.
According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH) on the 21st, a total of 59 new confirmed cases tested positive for COVID-19 at temporary screening clinics in the Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon areas of the metropolitan region the previous day.
This accounts for 15.1% of the 391 new locally transmitted confirmed cases recorded as of midnight that day.
It represents 19.0% of the 311 confirmed cases occurring in the metropolitan area.
Breaking down the 59 new confirmed cases by region, there were 24 in Seoul, 33 in Gyeonggi, and 2 in Incheon.
