Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center Hosts 'Isang Chamber Orchestra' Performance
Romantic Music Journey with Bach, Dvorak, and Britten
7:30 PM on the 24th at Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center Lobby
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] A romantic musical journey with Bach, Dvo??k, and Britten unfolds.
To celebrate Culture Day in February, Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center will hold a performance by the 'Isang Chamber Orchestra' in the lobby at 7:30 PM on the 24th.
The Isang Chamber Orchestra was formed in 2016 with the aim of realizing individual ideals about music and giving back the results to society.
They engage in various activities to narrow the gap between the audience and the stage, and between performers and listeners, sometimes strictly and sometimes experimentally, without distinguishing between eras and genres from ancient to contemporary music.
In this performance, they will play Johann Sebastian Bach's "Air on the G String" and Anton?n Dvo??k's Symphony No. 9 in E minor, among others.
The performance will be conducted in compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines, including temperature checks and leaving one seat empty between audience members.
A representative of Gyeongnam Culture and Arts Center said, "We are pleased to finally present the first performance of 2021 to the residents of Gyeongnam despite the difficult situation caused by COVID-19," adding, "We hope it will be a warm and comforting time through the music of Bach, Dvo??k, and Britten."
