The 2 dollars will be deposited into the customer's foreign currency Change-Up deposit account. The foreign currency Change-Up deposit is Shinhan Bank's representative foreign currency deposit and withdrawal account, which can be opened at branches or through Sol.
Launched at the end of last year, the Someday foreign currency savings account is a USD-only flexible savings product that offers up to 90% preferential exchange rates at deposit and exempts foreign currency cash withdrawal fees.
Since deposits can be made from as little as 1 dollar, customers can easily try currency trading with a small amount, which has received a positive response.
