[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Seoul Samseong-dong InterContinental Seoul COEX announced on the 15th that it will introduce the 'Gallery in the Room with Jackson Shim' package, allowing guests to enjoy the works of emerging pop artist Jackson Shim inside their rooms and feel as if they are having a picnic in an outdoor gallery.
It was explained that this opportunity was created for those who miss cultural activities due to limited access to exhibitions recently, allowing them to privately view paintings while staying at the hotel. During the package period, not only the concept rooms but also three of Jackson Shim's works will be exhibited in the hotel's first-floor lobby, enabling anyone to view his art.
The 'Gallery in the Room with Jackson Shim' package decorates the business suite room, which is more than twice the size of a standard room, with five works worth approximately 30 million KRW and a painting that Jackson Shim personally drew on the room window. A poster book and T-shirt featuring Jackson Shim's signature designs are also provided.
To create the feeling of having a picnic outdoors inside the room, camping chairs and a camping table are provided. In-room dining includes Irish whiskey brand 'Jameson' highball, cold cuts, a cheese plate, and melon prosciutto. A Jameson highball glass and an eco bag are also given as gifts.

Guests can enjoy breakfast for two at the hotel's first-floor brasserie, as well as free access to the hotel fitness club and swimming pool. Upon request, an extra bed is provided free of charge. The package is available for reservation until the end of March, starting at 370,000 KRW on weekdays, including taxes and service charges. Customers who purchase the artwork through the package will receive a drawing with their name included as a limited edition from InterContinental.
