Applications Open Until the 26th for Citizens and Former Institution Employees
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City in Gyeongnam announced on the 14th that it will lease citizen gardens in front of the main gate of Munsan Agricultural Technology Center.
Jinju City, which established 200 garden plots at 507-2, Dusan-ri, Munsan-eup, will accept applications for citizen garden leases from Jinju citizens and employees of institutions relocated to the Innovation City from the 15th to the 26th.
The lease area is 10㎡ per plot, and the usage fee is 17,000 KRW. The garden usage period is from early April, after land preparation and soil disinfection are completed, until the end of November.
Perennial crops and winter crops (such as garlic and onions) cannot be cultivated. To preserve the environment and ensure safe agricultural production, plastic mulching and pesticide spraying are prohibited.

Jinju City plans to provide management education in April for beginners who lack knowledge or experience in garden operation. Applicants wishing to lease should submit an application form and a resident registration abstract by mail or email.
