Supporting Youth Start!... Dobong-gu Recruiting Participants for 'Youth Participation Support Project'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dongjin Lee) is recruiting participants for the 'Youth Participation Support Project' from February 8 to 24.

Now in its fifth year, the 'Youth Participation Support Project' is a program that supports the realization of projects containing fresh ideas from young people, helping local youth actively participate in society, thereby strengthening their foundation for independence and capabilities.

This project is open to any group or organization of three or more youths aged 19 to 39 residing or active within Dobong-gu as of the announcement date. Those wishing to participate can download the application form from the district’s website, complete it, and submit it via email (tyeonk@dobong.go.kr) or by visiting the Dobong-gu Office Education Support Division.

The support areas include ▲discovering and revitalizing youth culture based in the local community ▲forming and activating a healthy Dobong youth community ▲youth-led creative job creation activities (new types of jobs) ▲and other diverse and free themes linked to the region, such as innovative projects to solve local youth issues.

The district will select teams through document and interview evaluations, sign agreements with the selected teams, and provide project execution funds ranging from 3 million to 10 million KRW per team. Additionally, participating teams will receive 1:1 consulting and opportunities to form exchange networks among teams.
