Pastor Jo Yong-gi's Wife, Kim Seong-hye, President of Hansei University, Passes Away
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Kim Seong-hye, president of Hansei University and wife of Reverend Cho Yong-gi, the senior pastor of Yoido Full Gospel Church, has passed away.
Hansei University announced that President Kim, who had been receiving treatment for a chronic illness at Seoul National University Hospital in Jongno-gu, Seoul, passed away at the age of 78 at around 2:20 PM on the 11th.
President Kim was the wife of Reverend Cho and the daughter of the late Pastor Choi Ja-sil, who, along with Reverend Cho, founded Yoido Full Gospel Church.
She graduated from Ewha Womans University with a degree in piano in 1965. She earned a master's degree from Manhattan School of Music in the United States in 1995 and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Oral Roberts University in the United States in 2008. She served as president of Hansei University since 2001. She personally taught courses and gave weekly lessons on 'Piano Performance'.

The funeral will be held over five days, with the funeral hall located at Seoul National University Hospital. The funeral procession will take place at 8 AM on the 15th.
