On the First Day of Seollal Holiday, Gyeongju Mayor Ju Nak-yeong Visits Fire Station, Health Center, and Police Station
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] On the 11th, the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday, Joo Nak-young, mayor of Gyeongju City, visited local field agencies to encourage employees on emergency duty.
Starting with a visit to the city hall's comprehensive situation room, Mayor Joo then visited Gyeongju Fire Station, the Environmental Welfare Center, the Public Health Center, Gyeongju Police Station, the Association of Model Drivers of Private Taxis, and the intercity and express bus terminals in succession. Accompanying him on the visits were National Assembly member Kim Seok-ki and Seo Ho-dae, chairman of the Gyeongju City Council.
At each visited institution, snacks such as sandwiches, pizza, and tangerines were delivered to comfort the workers who are sweating on site for the safety and convenience of citizens even during the holiday.
