Find Cultural and Artistic Jobs Online
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] The Korea Arts & Culture Education Service announced on the 9th that it will hold an online job fair for young job seekers aspiring to work in the cultural and artistic fields from the 17th to the 19th.
This event will be held under the name "2021 Arko Arts Workforce Support Online Job Market," with 334 cultural and artistic organizations participating across seven fields: visual arts, literature, theater, dance, music, traditional arts, and general culture. During the event period, recruitment information for all participating organizations will be provided through the online job market homepage, and various recruitment support programs will be conducted.
The participating organizations in the online job market receive recruitment support through the arts job projects conducted by the Arts Council Korea. The "Cultural Arts Institution Trainee Support Project" is a youth internship program targeting cultural and artistic majors under the age of 34. However, non-majors can also be hired if they possess equivalent certifications or have completed more than three months of relevant training. The hired trainees can gain work experience for a total of 10 months from March to December this year at cultural and artistic organizations such as art museums, performance halls, national and public cultural foundations, theater companies, dance troupes, and orchestras. In addition, recruitment information for various arts job projects targeting professionals in the cultural and artistic fields will be provided.
During the three days of the online job market, job seekers can participate in programs such as the integrated trainee recruitment briefing session, one-on-one recruitment consultations with participating organizations conducted via chat service, and non-face-to-face matching interviews.
Job seekers wishing to participate in the job market can pre-register through the pre-registration page, and during the pre-registration period, recruitment information for each organization can be downloaded in the form of an integrated directory book. Detailed programs such as the trainee recruitment briefing session and one-on-one recruitment consultations will be held for three days starting from the 17th on the homepage at the same address.
