On the morning of the 9th, Hong Nam-ki, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, held a meeting of related ministers (Green Room Meeting) at the Government Seoul Office to discuss the follow-up plan for the "Public-led 3080+ Metropolitan Area Housing Supply Drastic Expansion Plan."
At the meeting, the government decided to push forward with amendments to laws related to the measures announced on the 4th, including the Urban and Residential Environment Improvement Act and the Special Act on Public Housing, by next month. In addition, LH and SH will hold focused briefing sessions intensively over the next three months, and the designation of new public housing sites will be expedited as much as possible. Furthermore, a collaborative system among local governments, LH, SH, and other related organizations will be established and operated.
