Hana Bank "Untact Seol, Send Money and Get It Back as Hana Money"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Bank announced on the 9th that it will hold an event offering various benefits and fun through non-face-to-face channels in celebration of the Korean Lunar New Year, Seollal.
The ‘Receive New Year’s Blessing Money’ event, conducted through the Hana One Q application (app), consists of ▲Receiving Lucky Blessing Money ▲Sending My Precious Heart ▲Receiving Preferential Interest Rate Benefits during the Seollal holiday, and will run until the 15th.
‘Receiving Lucky Blessing Money’ is open to anyone who logs into Hana One Q. Up to 100,000 people per day and a total of 500,000 people can receive up to 50,000 Hana Money, along with free fortune-telling and Tojeong Bigyeol services.
‘Sending My Precious Heart’ allows customers to gift Korean won or foreign currency to loved ones they cannot meet due to COVID-19 through the ‘My Heart Remittance’ or ‘Currency Exchange Gift’ on the Hana One Q event page. Among participants, 1,000 people will be selected by lottery to receive 1% of the gift amount back in Hana Money.
‘Receiving Preferential Interest Rate Benefits during the Seollal Holiday’ offers a preferential interest rate of 0.5% per annum simply by subscribing to the e-Plus Installment Savings, which allows monthly deposits up to 1 million KRW, through the Hana One Q app during the Seollal holiday period.
Additionally, a special event for preparing a lump sum of money as New Year’s money and for congratulating on school entrance and graduation will be held from the 15th until March 12th. Customers under 18 years old who subscribe to products such as the iDream Hana Installment Savings, One Dollar Foreign Currency Installment Savings, or the Comprehensive Housing Subscription Savings will receive prizes such as CU mobile gift certificates depending on the number of products subscribed.
Customers who newly issue the Youth Discount Postpaid Transportation Check Card and link it as a payment account to Hana Bank will receive cultural gift certificates as prizes. Furthermore, through the ‘Young Hana’ platform, customers who issue an affiliated student ID card and subscribe to the Comprehensive Housing Subscription Savings will be eligible for congratulatory money and prizes such as laptops and AirPods.
