Hapcheon-gun to Operate COVID-19 Screening Clinics Normally During Lunar New Year Holiday
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced that during the Lunar New Year holiday period (11th~14th), the COVID-19 situation room and screening clinics will operate normally from 09:00 to 22:00.
The county urged those with suspected COVID-19 symptoms such as fever and cough, or even if asymptomatic but suspicious, to get tested for COVID-19 immediately.
A 24-hour communication system will be maintained to prepare for emergencies such as COVID-19 testing and contact management, health management of overseas arrivals and self-quarantined individuals.

Moon Jun-hee, mayor of Hapcheon-gun, said, “During the Lunar New Year holiday, our traditional holiday, large-scale movement could threaten our county with COVID-19,” and urged, “I hope this Lunar New Year will be a time to share hearts by prohibiting private gatherings of five or more people and minimizing movement.”
