The Ministry of Justice announced on the 6th that, following a full inspection of inmates at Seoul Nambu Correctional Center, one close-contact inmate was confirmed positive.
Accordingly, as of 5 p.m. on the same day, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in correctional facilities nationwide increased by one from the previous day to 1,276.
Currently, a total of 110 inmates are undergoing isolation treatment in correctional facilities nationwide: 57 at Seoul Dongbu Detention Center, 43 at Gyeongbuk Bukbu 2 Correctional Center, 7 at Seoul Nambu Correctional Center, and 3 at Seoul Detention Center.
