[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] Park Beom-gye, Minister of Justice, and Yoon Seok-yeol, Prosecutor General, held their second meeting to discuss personnel appointments in the prosecution.
According to the Ministry of Justice on the 5th, Minister Park and Prosecutor General Yoon met from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for nearly two hours at the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office building in Seocho-dong, Seoul, in the office that Minister Park used as the personnel hearing preparation team office during his candidacy.
Previously, the two also met at this location on the 2nd to discuss the general principles and standards for prosecution personnel appointments.
On this day, Minister Park listened to opinions regarding the current personnel appointments based on a written document prepared by Prosecutor General Yoon. Afterwards, he verbally conveyed to Prosecutor General Yoon the direction, scope, and key personnel considerations he had envisioned.
