[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the afternoon of the 4th at 2 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the opening ceremony of the Samyuk Middle School ‘Ttukttak’ project and the completion ceremony of the connecting corridor between the school buildings.
On this day, Samyuk Middle School held the completion ceremony for the connecting corridor between two school buildings, supported by the district’s educational expense subsidy project and the school’s own funds, along with the opening ceremony of ‘Haneulmaru,’ a rest area cultural arts platform under the corridor, completed with funding from the ‘Ttukttak’ project.
Haneulmaru consists of a photo zone, a gathering zone for conversations, and an activity zone for light exercise. This project was created through collaboration between students and local artists from design to installation, and is expected to serve as a healing space for students and residents tired from studies and daily life.
Mayor Oh Seung-rok, who visited the site, carefully inspected the newly created connecting corridor and Haneulmaru with school officials.
