Gyeongnam Sustainable Development Council Launches 10th Term, 'The First Year Overcoming the Climate Crisis'

The Gyeongsangnam-do Sustainable Development Council is a representative public-private governance organization of Gyeongnam, established in August 2002 in accordance with the UN's recommendations to overcome the climate crisis and achieve sustainable development.
This year, as the implementation plan is being promoted under the 'Gyeongsangnam-do Sustainable Development Basic Ordinance,' efforts will be made to unite the participation of city and county sustainable development councils and residents to make this the inaugural year for overcoming the climate crisis and practicing sustainable development.
At this general meeting, the business plan for this year of the Gyeongsangnam-do Sustainable Development Council was finalized.
They plan to actively promote related practical projects such as the implementation of the provincial sustainable development goals, resident evaluations, support for Green New Deal resident idea consulting, support projects for city and county sustainable development, sustainable development education, and climate crisis resident actions.
