View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 4th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korean Iris Genome Medicine Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) to develop the Korean medicine anti-aging industry and revitalize the operation of external herbal dispensaries.
The two organizations held the business agreement ceremony at the Donguibogam Village Theme Hall, attended by Lee Jae-geun, Mayor of Sancheong-gun, Shim Jae-hwa, Chairman of the Sancheong County Council, and Park Sung-il, President of the Association.
This agreement was prepared to successfully prepare for the ‘2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo’ and the Sancheong Korean Medicine Herbal Festival through mutual cooperation.
It was promoted to widely publicize Sancheong’s excellent Korean medicine anti-aging industry by revitalizing the use of Sancheong-gun’s external herbal dispensaries.
Through this agreement, the organizations promised active use and promotion of external herbal dispensaries, participation in Korean medicine medical volunteer activities during the ‘2023 Sancheong Aging Expo’ and the Herbal Festival.
They also agreed to provide health information and Korean medicine-related information for local residents and to join efforts to promote and use the county’s excellent Korean medicine anti-aging products.
During the Expo and Herbal Festival, the excellent human resources of the Korean Iris Genome Medicine Association are expected to participate in medical volunteer activities, further enhancing the quality of the festival content.
A county official explained, “Revitalizing the use of external herbal dispensaries will serve as a sales channel to consume excellent Korean medicinal herbs produced in our county, which will help expand cultivation farms and increase income.”
