Jamsil Tax Office 'Weapon Assault' Victim Employee Had Requested Personal Protection in December Last Year

According to the police on the 4th, victim employee Mr. A requested police protection against the perpetrator Mr. B at the Songpa Police Station in Seoul in December of last year.
At that time, the police provided Mr. A with a smartwatch and registered his phone number in the 112 system. They also issued a warning to Mr. B. However, it was confirmed that Mr. A was not wearing the smartwatch at the time of the incident.
On the previous day, Mr. B wielded a weapon at the civil service office on the 3rd floor of the tax office, attacking two men and Mr. A, and then self-harmed. Mr. B was transported to a hospital but died. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
