View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Gimhae City Public Health Center in Gyeongnam is conducting the ‘Atopic Dermatitis and Asthma Patient Medical Expense Support Project’ to assist children with allergies in the area.
The health center announced on the 4th that allergic diseases, if not properly treated during childhood, are likely to lead to adult diseases, so support is provided to block this early.
The eligible recipients are patients under 18 years old residing in the area with atopic dermatitis (L20) or bronchial asthma (J45), who are medical aid beneficiaries, families with three or more children, multicultural families, grandparent-headed families, or households with an income below 120% of the median income.
The support covers up to 300,000 KRW per person annually for statutory copayments of treatment costs incurred after January 1 of this year.
Non-covered expenses such as moisturizers, herbal medicines, and alternative foods are excluded.
Required documents include a medical confirmation, medical expense receipts, detailed medical bills, health insurance premium payment confirmation, resident registration certificate, and health insurance eligibility certificate.
