[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] SK Telecom's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Yoon Poong-young stated during the Q4 2020 earnings conference call on the 3rd that the mobile network operator (MNO) business in 2020 aims to create a new growth story as an AI platform-based subscription company. He said, "We plan to go beyond telecommunications by partnering with various businesses such as education and rental services to launch a variety of products that customers want."

CFO Yoon explained, "To actively promote these subscription product marketing efforts, we are building the necessary infrastructure and will link it with the telecom company's membership program," adding, "Our goal is to reach 20 million subscription product subscribers and achieve sales of 600 billion KRW by 2023."
