The county requested 165 institutions and organizations to join efforts to enable the military base relocation by sending letters and making direct visits. Staff members are visiting villages in person and conducting the signature campaign through various methods to gather the hearts of each resident.
The long-standing wish of Hamyang residents is to relocate the military base adjacent to Hamyang-eup downtown area, improve residents' cultural life and quality of life, and return the space to the residents by creating rest areas and parks.
