January 25?February 4: 22 Neighborhoods Hold Independent Non-Face-to-Face Meetings... This Year’s Lunar New Year Explanation and Resident Opinion Listening as a 'Communication Platform'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) has been conducting the '2021 Ontact Performance Report Meeting' from the 25th of last month to the 4th, targeting residents of 22 neighborhoods to explain last year's major projects and listen to residents' opinions.
The report meetings, held via non-face-to-face video conferencing, are scheduled independently by each neighborhood.
After reviewing past achievements by watching videos containing major projects of Gangnam-gu during the 7th elected term, this year's plans are shared and communication is conducted freely.
Major projects by the four strategies are also introduced. These include five tasks under the 'Must-Environment City' such as creating the Bongeunsa Healing Trekking Trail and green ecological city projects like Samsung and Bongeun Water Reservoir Parks; six tasks under the 'Future-Oriented Attractive City' such as expanding the Gangnam Healing Center and establishing a robot hub district; eight tasks under the 'Inclusive Welfare City' such as Mimiwi Clean Playground and expanding the 70+ Lounge; and four tasks under the 'Empathetic Administration City' such as operating resident informatization education and revitalizing lifelong learning.
Jung Soon-gyun, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, said, "This year, entering the post-COVID era, is the inaugural year to firmly establish Gangnam's status as an Ontact leader," adding, "We will proactively respond to the rapidly changing environment to ensure there are no gaps in implementing non-face-to-face administration across the district."
