[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, is implementing the ‘2021 Customized Small and Medium-sized Agricultural Machinery Support Project’ to address labor shortages caused by aging and feminization in rural areas and to provide convenience in farming operations.
According to the city on the 3rd, all models are supported to allow farmers to choose the models they want, expanding the range of choices, and product information is also provided to enable the purchase of high-efficiency equipment.
This year, the drone support project will not be implemented separately, so farmers planning to purchase unmanned aerial pesticide sprayers can apply through this support project.
However, models with a loan support limit of less than 1 million KRW per model listed in the ‘Government-supported Agricultural Machinery Catalog’ and some agricultural machinery for livestock and fruit trees are not supported.
Applications are accepted at the administrative welfare centers in the applicant’s town, township, or neighborhood until the 19th.
Eligibility for application is open to any farmer residing in the jurisdiction and registered as an agricultural management entity.
For inquiries about the project, contact the industry department of each administrative welfare center.
