KBI Group Partners with Hanbat National University for Industry-Academic Cooperation... Expecting Talent Development and Employment Effects
Discussing Concrete Cooperation Plans for Talent Development and Corporate Innovation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] KBI Group announced on the 3rd that it will promote various collaborations along with discussions on industry-academia cooperation with Hanbat National University.
Earlier, KBI Group donated 20 facial recognition thermometers worth approximately 110 million KRW to Hanbat National University through an industry-academia cooperation agreement last month aimed at "discovering new growth industries and nurturing talent in response to the Korean New Deal."
Through this agreement, KBI Group and Hanbat National University established a concrete roadmap for introducing Hanbat University programs, student employment, field training, and capstone design programs. The capstone design program is an educational curriculum that allows engineering students to experience the entire process of planning, designing, and producing a project instead of a graduation thesis to improve problem-solving skills they may encounter in the industry.
KBI Group plans to promote practical education programs and expand recruitment between its 20 affiliated companies and Hanbat National University. Additionally, to derive and share corporate innovation plans and ideas, professors and students from Hanbat National University will visit major affiliates of KBI Group in the future to carry out various projects.
