Sejong City Announces Call for Operators for Cultural and Leisure 'Specialized Street Development' Project

View original image[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City announced on the 3rd that it will invite businesses to participate in the 'Specialized Street Development Project' to create cultural and leisure spaces within the city.
The Specialized Street Development Project is implemented with the purpose of forming the city's identity through streetscape improvement and creating a sustainable city by revitalizing the local commercial district.
The project scope includes the installation of representative sculptures and large symbolic signboards for the specialized street, small parks and fountains as citizen rest areas, landscape lighting, and other facilities considering local characteristics.
Merchants or resident organizations wishing to participate in the project must submit an application form along with a merchant or resident consent form and a business plan to the City Hall's Landscape Design Division by the 26th of this month.
Based on the submitted business plans, the city plans to select two final sites for the specialized street project through suitability assessment, feasibility review, and on-site inspection.
A total budget of 120 million KRW will be invested in this project.
