Kwon Yong-bok, Former Director of Aviation Policy Office, Appointed as New Chairman of Korea Transportation Safety Authority

[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Kwon Yong-bok, former Director of Aviation Policy at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority.
According to the Transportation Safety Authority on the 1st, the Authority will hold the inauguration ceremony for the new Chairman Kwon at its headquarters in Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk, on the 2nd.
Previously, the Authority conducted an open recruitment for the chairman position from November 5 to 13 last year. It was reported that on the 29th of last month, the Ministry of Personnel Management notified the Authority of the personnel appointment for the new chairman.
