Checking Compliance with Core Quarantine Measures Such as Mask Wearing and Visitor Log Management
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City in Gyeongnam has urged strict compliance with quarantine rules and assembly ban orders.
The city detected 13 violations of quarantine rules including breaches of the 9 PM business hour restriction, 13 violations of the ban on private gatherings of five or more people, and 5 violations of assembly ban orders.
Accordingly, from February 1 to 14, special inspections for the prevention of COVID-19 will be conducted around restaurants and cafes in busy districts and tourist areas in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
This inspection will check for mask-wearing, visitor log creation and management, ventilation and disinfection implementation, and social distancing compliance.
Additionally, there will be a focused inspection on violations of the ban on private gatherings of five or more people.
If quarantine rules are violated, fines will be imposed not only on the violating businesses but also on users who breach the rules.
