Hosted by the Industrial Policy Research Institute, the '2021 Korea Brand Hall of Fame' is an awards ceremony that selects and honors outstanding brands most loved by consumers based on corporate management performance, brand value, customer satisfaction, and other criteria. Boram Sangjo received the highest score in the funeral service category and was honored with the award.
According to Boram Sangjo, it was highly evaluated for introducing the country's first fixed-price system to prevent the excessive profits and unfair practices that were once widespread in funeral businesses, contributing to the establishment of a proper funeral culture. In addition, it has gained recognition for its professionalism and built trust through the introduction of VIP funeral limousine services, operation of nationwide directly managed funeral event centers, introduction of funeral protocol managers, and establishment of funeral welfare education centers.
Furthermore, Boram Sangjo explained that it fulfills its responsibilities as a social enterprise by practicing the spirit of 'Sangbusangjo' through various social contribution activities such as COVID-19 overcoming campaigns, sponsoring cultural events at local welfare centers, and donating sports talents.
Marking its 31st anniversary this year, Boram Sangjo Group plans to grow into a 'total life care' company by expanding its business beyond funeral services to weddings, travel, as well as healthcare, cosmetics, and jewelry.
