Hapcheon-type 2nd Emergency Disaster Relief Fund Support Confirmed
882 Businesses Including Small Merchants in Government Support Blind Spots Receive 500,000 to 3,000,000 KRW
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that it will provide the 2nd Hapcheon-type disaster relief fund to small business owners to discover and support blind spots not included in the 3rd government disaster relief fund due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to overcome the crisis situation.
The support targets are those who have had their business locations in Hapcheon-gun from before December 8, 2020, to the announcement date, including businesses subject to gathering bans, business restrictions, travel agencies, and corporate taxi and charter bus drivers.
The support amounts are 1.5 million KRW per gathering ban business, 500,000 KRW per business restriction business, and 3 million KRW for travel agencies.
The disaster relief fund will be paid sequentially from February 1 to February 19, around the Lunar New Year, to the businesses that applied for the fund.
This 2nd Hapcheon-gun disaster relief fund is especially meaningful as it was reviewed with a focus on whether there are any blind spots in the government disaster relief fund support or if the government support is insufficient compared to the scale of damage, and it is also provided to travel agencies and corporate taxi and charter bus drivers who are in the blind spots.
Small business owners who wish to apply must submit the disaster relief fund application form, consent form for collection and use of personal information, business registration certificate, and either the list of subscribers to the four major insurances issued by the National Health Insurance Corporation or the health insurance qualification acquisition and loss confirmation.
However, to ensure social distancing and dispersed reception, a five-day rotation system is applied in towns and townships with many small business establishments, and applications can be submitted to the relevant department or township office by the 19th of next month.
