A total of four candidates ran in the association president election, and in the final runoff vote, the newly elected President Yang received 2,162 votes (62.6%) out of 3,454 valid votes (voter turnout 81.9%).
The election was conducted via electronic voting to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
President Yang presented key pledges such as securing new growth engines for the appraisal market and strengthening policy capabilities to contribute to the national economy.
President Yang said, "The appraisal industry stands at a crossroads between leap forward and stagnation," and added, "Based on strong execution and communication with members, I will definitely achieve a new leap forward for the appraisal industry."
