Toray Advanced Materials Delivers 225 Laptops Through 'Sending Love PCs' Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Toray Advanced Materials announced on the 27th that it has participated in the Korea IT Welfare Promotion Agency's 'Sending Love PCs' campaign by donating 225 laptops.
As part of non-face-to-face social contribution under the social distancing policy, the laptops used for work were delivered to the Korea IT Welfare Promotion Agency in two rounds. The donated laptops will be inspected and repaired before being distributed to information-vulnerable groups. This is expected to help bridge the digital divide and reduce social costs by preventing environmental pollution through resource circulation via PC reassembly and reuse.
