Payment of 3 Sheets per Person Through Eup and Myeon Offices
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-su] Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Seung-ok) announced on the 26th that it will distribute quarantine masks to all residents starting from the 27th to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the Lunar New Year holiday.
Since COVID-19 first occurred in Korea in January last year, the area has maintained a clean status for one year. However, with the recent occurrence of three confirmed COVID-19 cases, masks will be distributed at a rate of three per person to prevent community spread and as a preemptive measure in preparation for the Lunar New Year holiday.
The masks to be distributed this time are KF-94 grade. In addition to the 38,000 masks already in stock, the county purchased an additional 70,000 masks. After sorting, the masks will be sent to the town and township offices, where staff members responsible for each village and village chiefs will directly deliver them to the residents.
