Donation of 200 Million KRW for Earthquake Relief to Indonesian Red Cross Society
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi]KB Financial Group announced on the 26th that it will donate 200 million KRW to the Indonesian Red Cross to aid in the recovery and relief efforts for victims of the earthquake that occurred in the Sulawesi region of Indonesia.
KB Financial Group decided to provide the donation to support the prompt relief of the victims in the affected area. The 200 million KRW donation will be delivered to the Indonesian Red Cross through Bukopin Bank, a subsidiary of KB Kookmin Bank, and KB Financial Multi Finance, a subsidiary of KB Kookmin Card.
Yoon Jong-kyu, Chairman of KB Financial Group, said, “We extend our deepest condolences to the local residents of Indonesia who lost their homes due to this earthquake and hope they can return to their normal lives as soon as possible. KB Financial Group will continue to do its best to fulfill its responsible role as a corporate citizen in Indonesia and actively engage in various activities for the local community.”
