Black Yak, Lunar New Year Discount Event Held
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Outdoor brand Black Yak announced on the 24th that it will hold a 'BIG 3 Discount Event' to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
This event was planned for people who replace greetings with gifts as the trend of 'untact holidays' continues, refraining from visiting hometowns or acquaintances due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event, which runs until the 14th of next month, consists of discounts on gift set purchases, triple membership points accumulation, and a 20,000-point giveaway.
The gift set purchase discount allows customers to choose two or three products from three themes?gifts for parents, winter mountain climbing, and daily wear?to create a set, with additional discounts applied according to each product option. When selecting two items, regular-priced products receive a 20% additional discount, and already discounted products receive an additional 10% off. When selecting three items, the discount increases to 25% and 15%, respectively.
There is also an event for BYN membership members. During the event period, purchasing products at stores nationwide will earn triple membership points.
Additionally, membership members (those who completed registration by January 21) will receive a 20,000-point Lunar New Year gift support fund on January 22, which can be used during the event period. The awarded points can be used for purchases over 100,000 KRW at stores and the Black Yak online mall, and will automatically expire after the event period.
A Black Yak representative said, “As the COVID-19 situation prolongs, many people are expressing gratitude with gifts rather than meetings this Lunar New Year,” adding, “We hope that the abundant benefits prepared by Black Yak will make hearts feel close and warm.”
