Golfweek in the U.S. reported on the 22nd (Korean time), quoting Michael O'Reilly, the golf official of the Kohler Regional Tourism Promotion Agency, saying, "We will allow about 40,000 to 45,000 spectators per day." O'Reilly explained, "This is the current plan, but we must follow guidelines from the PGA of America and state governments," adding, "There may be COVID-19 variables during the remaining period before the tournament."

The Ryder Cup will be held for three days starting September 24 at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin, USA. It was originally scheduled for last year but was postponed by one year due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Limited gallery admission will also be allowed at the Arnold Palmer Invitational of the PGA Tour, held in early March in Orlando, Florida. They plan to admit spectators up to 25% of the total capacity.
