[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Woori Bank announced on the 22nd that it has launched the 'Fast Claims Service for Actual Expense Insurance,' which allows actual expense insurance policyholders to easily claim insurance benefits through the mobile banking application WON Banking without paper documents such as medical certificates.
The service is available to actual expense insurance policyholders from 31 insurance companies including Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, and customers who have not subscribed to actual expense insurance through Woori Bank can also use it.
When using about 90 major large hospitals such as Severance Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital, insurance claims can be made within WON Banking without the need to issue separate paper documents such as medical certificates or receipts. At general hospitals other than partner hospitals, supporting documents can be photographed with a smartphone to claim insurance benefits.
