[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jeong Yun-mo, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 22nd that it achieved the highest grade in the '2020 Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The comprehensive information disclosure evaluation, conducted under the supervision of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, is a system that evaluates a total of about 580 institutions including central administrative agencies, local governments, education offices, and public enterprises by assessing prior information disclosure, original information, information disclosure request processing, and customer management, thereby providing an overall understanding of the level of information disclosure in public institutions. The 2020 comprehensive information disclosure evaluation was conducted simultaneously with the 2019 evaluation by changing the evaluation period to reflect the evaluation results in management assessments, with private experts participating as evaluators.
Kibo received the highest evaluation in areas such as the number of prior information registrations, appropriateness of information disclosure request processing, and detailed criteria for non-disclosure, based on prompt information disclosure processing and customer-friendly system operation, achieving a score above the public institution average and obtaining the highest grade. Over the past two years, Kibo has focused on ▲employee training for information disclosure processing ▲original information disclosure tailored to user demands through original document viewing and analysis ▲active prior information disclosure registration ▲providing information and monitoring through website visitor analysis to fulfill the public's right to know.
