Korea Citibank Supports 'Youth Social Venture Employment' with Root Impact
On the afternoon of the 20th, Citibank Korea held a sponsorship agreement ceremony for the 'Impact Career Y Program' together with Root Impact at Heyground Seongsu Starting Point located in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Korea Citibank announced on the 21st that it signed a sponsorship agreement with Root Impact and ‘Impact Career Y (Youth)’ at Heyground Seongsu Starting Point in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and delivered approximately 220 million KRW (200,000 USD) in sponsorship funds from the Citi Foundation.
The Impact Career Y program was designed to connect social ventures that pursue both social and economic value with young people, helping them achieve successful employment and stable workplace life. Since 2019, it has provided direct employment opportunities through career forums and recruitment platform operations for youth, and also supports job competency enhancement training to help with organizational adaptation after hiring.
This year, through the Impact Career program, it plans to research youth employment trends in domestic and international social ventures and publish related online content. Additionally, it will actively support building a community for young people who participated in Impact Career Y so that they can continuously communicate, collaborate, and grow together.
