Accomplice of Doctor's Room 'Igiya' Lee Won-ho Sentenced to 12 Years in First Trial
Charges Including Violations of the Juvenile Protection Act and Sexual Violence Punishment Act

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Lee Won-ho (21), an accomplice in the Telegram 'Baksa Bang' who produced and distributed sexual exploitation materials, was sentenced to 12 years in prison in the first trial.
On the 20th, the Ordinary Military Court of the Capital Defense Command sentenced Private First Class Lee Won-ho, who was indicted on charges including violation of the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles from Sexual Abuse, to 12 years in prison. Additionally, he was ordered to have his personal information disclosed for 7 years, employment restrictions for 10 years, and personal information registration for 30 years.
Private First Class Lee Won-ho, who was serving in a unit in Gyeonggi Province, was tried on charges of distributing sexual exploitation materials hundreds of times through Telegram under the name 'Igiya' in the Baksa Bang operated by Cho Ju-bin (25).
Lee Won-ho transferred ownership and management rights of two Telegram rooms he operated to Cho Ju-bin, helping Cho Ju-bin post child and juvenile pornography. Investigations revealed that Lee Won-ho encouraged joining the paid Baksa Bang operated by Cho Ju-bin and distributed and sold obscene materials.
He downloaded 4,911 child and juvenile pornography files and stored them on his mobile phone and hard disk, and also distributed obscene materials 45 times via KakaoTalk.
It has not yet been confirmed whether Lee Won-ho will appeal.

Meanwhile, Cho Ju-bin was sentenced to 40 years in prison in the first trial last November and is preparing for the appeal trial.
