[Breaking] 31 Recent Confirmed Cases Among USFK Arrivals... Total 635 Cases
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Recently, 31 individuals, including U.S. Forces Korea soldiers and their families who recently arrived, were collectively diagnosed with COVID-19.
According to the U.S. Forces Korea Command on the 19th, between the 29th of last month and the 18th of this month, 31 people?26 soldiers, 4 family members, and 1 civilian employee?who arrived in Korea through Incheon International Airport or Osan Air Base tested positive for COVID-19.
Eight tested positive immediately upon arrival, while the remaining 23 were confirmed positive during mandatory testing before the end of their quarantine period after entry.
All of them were transferred to COVID-19 dedicated isolation treatment facilities within the Pyeongtaek, Osan, and Gunsan U.S. military bases.
