Jangseong-gun to Host Academy with Creator Park Woong-hyun on the 21st
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Dooseok) announced on the 19th that it will hold the '1123rd 21st Century Jangseong Academy' by inviting Park Woonghyun, Creative Director of TBWA Korea, at the Small Theater of the Culture and Arts Center on the 21st.
Director Park Woonghyun is famous for blending humanistic sensibility and a warm perspective toward people into advertising, and advertising phrases such as "Age is just a number" and "Thought is energy" were born from his fingertips.
He is also the author of the book "Books Are Axes," which has been steadily loved since its publication in 2011. In addition, he wrote "Eyes," "Hello Don Quixote," and "Eight Words."
He graduated from Korea University with a degree in Journalism and Broadcasting and received a master's degree in Telecommunication from New York University. Afterward, he started working in advertising at Cheil Worldwide and currently serves as the Creative Director of TBWA Korea.
In the lecture, he plans to share his experiences of creating new meanings based on inspirations gained from everyday scenes and music, and to explore the significance of the humanities in the COVID-19 era.
In preparation for the spread of COVID-19, the county has reduced the frequency of the academy operation from every Thursday to biweekly (first and third Thursday) starting this year, and the lecture time is from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
On-site lectures will recruit a limited number of participants in advance through the county website, and online lectures will be broadcast live through the county's official YouTube channel.
