Miryang City Supports Improvement of Small Business Management Environment... Up to 2 Million KRW per Store

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 19th that it will promote the 'Small Business Small-scale Management Environment Improvement Project' to help small business owners struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The improvement project provides up to 2 million KRW in facility improvement costs to 77 businesses in areas such as store management environment improvement and promotional projects.
Specifically, it includes signboard replacement, interior and exterior renovations, restroom improvements, purchase of facility fixtures, and production of promotional materials. This year, in relation to COVID-19, the purchase of quarantine supplies such as fever checkers and table partitions has been added.
The support target is small business owners who have been Zero Pay affiliated stores for more than six months since startup. The application period is from the 25th to the 26th of next month, and those who wish to apply should submit the application form and required documents to the City Hall Job Economy Division or the administrative welfare center of the town, township, or neighborhood where the business is located.
Mayor Park Il-ho said, "We hope this project will provide practical help to small business owners who are struggling due to decreased sales caused by COVID-19," and added, "We encourage many small business owners who need store facility improvements to apply."
