KCC to Launch 'One-Stop' Telecom Dispute Resolution Starting on the 18th
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] The Korea Communications Commission will launch the 'Telecommunications Dispute Mediation Support System' service starting from the 18th.
By using this system, all procedures from dispute mediation consultation to case registration, fact verification, review, and mediation will be handled in a one-stop process. A traffic light system (green, yellow, red) has been introduced to allow applicants and respondents to easily check the progress, and a text notification service has also been added.
Additionally, to activate communication with users, applicants can check the progress of dispute mediation processing online and via mobile, and all procedures are designed to be processed systematically. Cases of relief related to frequently raised user inconveniences and complaints will also be provided.
The KCC gathered expert opinions from the early stages of system design.
